Step 1-Think It! I invented an umbrella for dogs. Sometimes your dog does not want to go outside because of the rain. Then they might go to the bathroom in the house, and you don’t want that to happen. So if your dog has a harness with my umbrella, you can clip the umbrella on and off of the harness.

Step 2 Explore It! I looked on a website for an umbrella for dogs, and I found out that an umbrella for dogs is already made where the umbrella attaches to the leash. My umbrella clips on and off of the harness. So when the dog wants to go outside, you can just clip the umbrella on and off of the harness.

Step 3 - sketch It!

Step 4- Create It! First, I got a toy dog. Then, I got a funnel. Then, I got some pipe cleaners. After that, I got a tiny umbrella. Finally, I got a little harness. Then I put it all together. First, I put the harness on the toy dog. Then I took three pipe cleaners and hooked them all together. I hooked one pipe cleaner to the harness. Then I put the funnel on the dog. Finally, I put the umbrella in the top of the funnel. Then I had my prototype.

Step 5-Try It!

Step 6-Tweak It! After trying the Dogbrella on Mardi, my grandparents’ dog, I did not have to change my invention because it worked the first time.

Step 7- Sell It!
