Autumn 1 2017 Theme: Me and My World Home/School Learning Plan Newtown Nursery School These are some of the things I will be learning about during the Autumn Term 2017. Please help me at home. We will be singing and joining in with our favourite stories, songs and rhymes – look out for the Lending Library scheme! We will be exploring our new environment and learning about caring, sharing, families and our ‘Golden Rules!’ . We will be learning to be independent helping with our self care, hygiene routines and dressing and undressing. National Gratitude Day 21st September- let’s say Thank-You! Sponsored Walk to School – 25th October. We will be celebrating National Dot Day on 15th September We will be exploring technology equipment- the laptops and I-Pads. Crush a Can Day 27th Sept- Let’s get recycling! We will be exploring sounds around us and the sounds instruments make. Autumn 1 2017 Theme: Me and My World We will be exploring new equipment independently but also using a familiar adult as a secure base if we need to. We will make lots of new friends with new children coming into Nursery. Please look out for Parents Information Session! We will collect and deliver harvest gifts to the elderly local residents. We will be learning how to use numbers, shape and size. We will be exploring and talking about the different marks we can make! We will be learning to have control when pouring, hammering and mark making. Come and join us for coffee on the 29th September. 6th October- It’s National Smile Day-let’s all have a .
