The Mix 3 part “brown” to 1 part “green” Green = fresh yard waste, manure, veggies and fruits Brown = brown/dry leaves, dry grass, dry dirt, straw Double compartments are best! No meat, dog poop; Maybe newspaper and sawdust

Indoor Compost! VERMICULTUREEEEEE with red worms Bin with wet, shredded cardboard/paper bedding Healthy bins can take 4-6 lbs of green a week Bury greens! Harvest!

TIPS Turn compost for more oxygen Use thermometer Not too wet, not too dry Break up materials! Vermiculture: eggshells /egg cartons, drip-bin, worms + sun, no oily foods!
