KCTCS Enrollment Trend Over Time Fall 2016 data is preliminary.

Top Takeaways Fall enrollment has stabilized after declines in each of the past four years. Nearly 100 URM student increase (0.8%) between Fall 2015 and Fall 2016. URM students represented 14.8% of the KCTCS student body in Fall 2016 compared to 13.0% of the Kentucky population aged 18-64.

Top Takeaways The dual credit scholarships had a big impact on high school enrollment in their first semester of implementation. The number of high school students attending KCTCS increased by nearly 1,300 students (11.5%). KCTCS continues to respond to immediate workforce needs. Non-degree seeking students increased by nearly 800 (8.2%). KCTCS provides multiple venues of access through online delivery. The number of credit hours delivered online increased by nearly 6,000 (2.6%). The KCTCS student body is growing younger.
