Homework and Newsletter September 4th- Sept 8th A note from the teachers… We hope everyone had a great long weekend! We are excited to be starting new fairy tale STEM challenges this week. We really appreciate all of the Maker Space donations we have been receiving. The kids have so many options and are truly engaged in the activities. This week, Mrs. Watson’s class will be designing and building a strong house for the three little pigs and Mrs. Swartz’s class will be designing and building bridges to hold up the three Billy goats. Our phonics focus for the week is short o but we are continuing to work with all of the short vowel sounds. In math, we are identifying different ways to make numbers within 10 to improve our addition fluency and our number sense. As always, feel free to contact us with questions or comments through email or our class dojo. Have a great week! Sincerely, Mrs. Swartz and Mrs. Watson.
