In this tutorial you will learn: How to create a Prezi account How to begin a presentation How to choose a template for the presentation It is pretty simple to make a Prezi account. However, with the many options of license available, you will want to choose the correct one for yourself.

How to create a Prezi account? Click on Log in Click on Sign Up Fill in your information and you will be ready to log in with the email id that you have provided. Prezi is only free for public access accounts. This means that any presentation that you create can be accessed and used by anyone on Prezi. However, people with school email ids can use their email id to receive a discount on their account setup of an upgraded licensed account.

Your customized Home page: On your profile page Left panel: *you can make different folders for different categories of your prezi presentations *you can view all your prezi presentations at once Right top: *you can make a new presentation by clicking on the “New Prezi” tab *you can also make a new presentation by clicking on the big tab in the center. Starting a new presentation New presentation can be started by: Clicking on the “New Prezi” blue tab on the top right of your profile. Clicking on the “New Prezi” blue tab on the center of your profile. You can start a new Prezi by clicking on either of the 2 tabs represented by the red circles.

Choosing a style for your prezi: Click on the template that you like and when you’re ready click on “Use template” at the bottom right of the section. There are many templates available which can be used for a vast number of presentations.

After choosing a template: After you choose the template, you will be directed to the template’s setup on your browser. Above is an example of the “Journey” template that I chose for the presentation.

To view the presentation path: You can click on the “Present” blue tab on the top left of the page and check how would your presentation path look like. The 2 modes of Prezi: Presentation mode and Editing mode can be toggled on the “Present” blue tab on the top left.

The “Presentation mode” When you click on the arrows “→” and “←”, you can check the path of the presentation and see how the frames transition into the next ones. If you do not like the template, you can “Exit” this presentation and create a new one by going to your home page. But before you think about doing that, you should remember that you can add or delete frames, change the path of the presentation as you like and add or delete any elements on the template. Basically keeping the background same, you can change anything of your template. You can also look for different templates on “www.prezzip.com”. You can also go to the “Explore” tab on your home page and reuse someone else’s Prezi presentation that is available on the cloud. Keep in mind that not all the Prezi presentations are reusable. Only the ones with the tag “copy” and “reusable” are reusable. After choosing the reusable prezi that you like you can click on “Save a copy” which will save a copy of the presentation on your home page.
