Instructions For the workshop, the intent is to have each participant get one piece of paper, printed front and back. Each page should have an “a” side.

FP Counselling Role Plays

Role Play (Duration: 30 mins) Instructions Trainers demonstrate FP Counseling while participants watch Participants divide into groups of 3 to role-play counseling (1. Counselor, 2.Client, 3. Observer) In each group, participants rotate to take turns in practicing counseling Trainer(s) summarize and provide feedback to the groups

The observers for the role plays should observe: What did the counsellor do well Did the counsellor apply the counselling steps in the correct sequence? Did the counsellor provide any wrong or incomplete information? How well did the counsellor address issues such as counselling on side effects, discrediting rumours etc What could the counselor do differently next time to improve the counseling session?
