Detailed Execution Guidance Partner nomination process via FastTrack portal Work cannot start until a PO # has been assigned Search for customer Log into FastTrack http://fasttrack.microsoft.com/ From the Welcome page, search for a customer If you have not yet engaged with a customer on FastTrack, select +Request for Access and enter the customer’s email address. The customer selects Notifications for the notice and then will approve or deny the request. If you can’t find the customer you’re looking for, create a new customer and invite that customer to join. 1 From your Dashboard, select the customer you want to create a Success Plan for and select +Create Success Plan. Complete the Required sections for the Success Plan: complete the Business Case section, provide dates for the Implementation Timeline, include at least one customer contact in the Team tab and in the Service Readiness section, complete the first 4 questions with the total number of users and devices. Submit request in FastTrack/Offers. Once submitted, the FastTrack for Microsoft 365 powered device Service Desk will review request confirm/collect request details and once the request is complete, route for internal review. Once this review is complete, the Partner will receive an email notification on the request status including next steps. Allow up to 3 days. Success plan requirement is being planned to be removed by Sep 2017 Submit Offer funding request 2 If approved, the Partner will work with the customer and/or the Microsoft field to determine the scope of project Microsoft provides partners with technical and marketing content to facilitate Microsoft 365 powered device programs on https://connect.microsoft.com/accelerate (refer to this content to determine project scope) Once the scope is finalized, the Partner will submit the Microsoft Statement of Work (SOW) to the FastTrack for Microsoft 365 powered device Service Desk, ftwin10sd@Microsoft.com Define scope 3
Detailed Execution Guidance Partner nomination process via FastTrack portal Work cannot start until a PO # has been assigned Sign Microsoft SOW 4 Microsoft End User Investment Funds (ECIF) Operations will send the SOW to the partner contact and the Microsoft SAFE Approver for signatures This will occur electronically via DocuSign in those countries that support electronic signatures Some countries require additional ECIF documentation for compliance purposes; Microsoft ECIF Operations will work with the Partner to meet those country-specific requirements Public Sector customers require a signed Notice & Consent (N&C) document. PO issued 5 Once an approved Purchase Order (PO) is assigned, the Partner will receive confirmation to start work. Note: it can take up to 14 business days to open a PO Microsoft Partner delivers services based on scope of work agreed upon in SOW Deliver service 6 A Proof of Execution (PoE) is required from the customer for each project in which Microsoft pays a partner, regardless of program, project, dollar amount, or industry. If the project has milestones, Microsoft requires a customer PoE for each milestone, as well as a final PoE, to close the engagement and approve the invoice for final payment The Microsoft 365 powered device team uses a PoE email template which the partner fills out with project details and sends to the customer. The customer is asked to respond with the word “CONFIRMED” from their business email; essentially stating the work performed by the partner was successfully delivered The start date on the PoE must be after the PO issue date [Optional] Update Success Plan based on the outcome of the engagement (success plan is an effective tool to help customer understand how key considerations of the Microsoft 365 powered device rollout are addressed) Obtain Proof of Execution (PoE) 7
