What is Jubilation? Jubilation is a tri-annual, volunteer-driven, council-sponsored troop camping event. It is the largest girl event in Silver Sage council, where girls and adults camp together and enjoy a weekend of exciting programs, ceremonies, and fun!

Round Up America 1976 Council Wide Encampment Boise Idaho at the Old Penitentiary 2000 Participants First Volunteer planned, council sponsored encampment for GSSSC Bi-Centennial Based with a portion of the musical 1776 performed. Who Plans Jubilation? The Jubilation Steering & Special Task Committees that are made up of: Dedicated Girl Scout adult volunteers Council support staff Girl representatives So again… who puts it on? Volunteers! Girl Mistresses of Ceremonies (MC’s) lead the decisions for theme, patch, t-shirts, and event programs and the adult volunteers make it happen! Its all about and for the girls.

Who can attend jubilation! Training Requirements GSSSC Approved Volunteers and Registered Girls Training Requirements Being safety prepared includes having at least one adult in your group complete the Planning Overnight Trips with Girls training (Course #401) and at least one adult in your group currently certified in CPR/FA. Group participants complete activities in the Make Your Dreams Possible - Journey to Jubilation – your planning resource for girls and adults attending.
