“This project invite a class of college/university students in ASEAN country to work together in a joint project conducted trough SKYPE COLLABORATION” Your class is perfect partner candidate for this project, if : You are located in ASEAN countries (Indonesia Brunei Darussalam , Cambodia , Indonesia , Lao PDR , Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand ,Viet Nam) Your class subject is within the area of Business or Social Studies. A medium sized class of 15-30 students. You are FULL OF SPIRIT and ready to share and communicate in English (beginner English are welcomed) This project is initiated by INDONESIA BANKING SCHOOL www.ibs.ac.id nuri.w.h@ibs.ac.id

The OBJECTIVES of the ASEAN Projects: To learn about each other CULTURE and to give exposure on university class within ASEAN community To practice the English language (which is not the native tongue of ASEAN) To experience working in a cross-country assignment / project This project is initiated by INDONESIA BANKING SCHOOL www.ibs.ac.id nuri.w.h@ibs.ac.id

General Steps of the ASEAN Projects: Each class will be grouped into 3-5 students and will have the pair group with the partner class abroad . So for example, Indonesia class I will have group A,B,C,D and E. Thailand class will have group A,B,C,D and E. Group Indonesia A will be paired with Group Thailand A, and so on. We will conduct the 1st SKYPE session for introduction and explaining the theme of the project. Each group will have to set up session to communicate independently on the task given in the class which they need to do TOGETHER. After 3 weeks we will conduct the 2nd SKYPE session and each group will present their result This project is initiated by INDONESIA BANKING SCHOOL www.ibs.ac.id nuri.w.h@ibs.ac.id

ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community THEME SUGGESTION : There are 3 Project Themes that we can discussed further in separate communication : “Business in ASEAN” Each group will discuss and decide : “if they were a businessman want to expand in the partner country, which product/service that they will create and why ?” This will practice the communication skill and reasoning as well as business knowledge “Marketing Project” Country A group will develop marketing plan for country A products in country B, while country B group will develop marketing plan for country B products in country A. This will require the understanding of local consumer behavior as well as basic marketing theory ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Group country A will teamed up with group country B to work on an innovative campaign to support ASEAN Socio Cultural Community visions (find out more in www.asean.org) This project is initiated by INDONESIA BANKING SCHOOL www.ibs.ac.id nuri.w.h@ibs.ac.id
