We ask that you continue to monitor homework assignments and check agendas daily for messages from your child’s teacher. Some teachers have already given out the Science Fair packet. Make sure that you read over it and have your child pick a topic that interests them. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Dear Families, This week we will be reading, “Road Runner’s Dance”, which is also a folktale. We will focus on main idea, identifying the theme of a story and antonyms. Mon., Oct. 16th – Boss’s Day Tues., Oct. 17th – United Way Tacky Tourist Day – Donation is $1.00 & Parent Academy 8:30am Wed., Oct. 18th - Snow Cone $1.00 & Ronald McDonald visits Flagami – McDonald’s Night 5 – 7pm & Last day to pay for pictures Thurs., Oct. 19th – United Way – Crazy Sock Day Donation is $1.00 & Individual Picture Day Fri., Oct. 20th – PTA Store – 7:30 am Science: Students will be learning about the physical properties of matter. Please make sure your child is working on their STEAM project. Social Studies: Students will continue working on mapping skills and the focus this month will be on Hispanic Heritage.. Students will finish working on Chapter 3, Understanding Multiplication. Please continue practicing the multiplication facts with your child and supervising that they use the Reflex program everyday!
