Activity 1 Using paper and crayons , Make your name tent card. Write your first name in Arabic From RIGHT to LEFT

السلام عليكم وعليكم السلام Ahlan أهلا Marhaban مرحبا When you greet someone say السلام عليكم وعليكم السلام Al sakmu alikom / wa alikom al salam Ahlan أهلا Marhaban مرحبا

انا اسمي --------- Ana Esmy ……………… When you introduce yourself say When you ask a female about her name you say: ما اسمكي ؟ (Ma esmoky?) When you ask a male about his name you say: ما اسمك؟ (Ma esmok?)

When you meet someone for the first time say تشرفنا Tashrafna

If you want to say I’m fine you say: Ana bekhair أنا بخير Now in pairs, practice saying kaif haluk or kaif haluki? Respond : Ana bekhair

How Are you? If you want to say How are you to a male, you say: كيف حالكKaifa Haluk ? If you want to say How are you to a female, you say : Kaifa Haluki? كيف حالكي؟

Activity 2 Watch the following two videos and then answer the following questions: 1- What’s the difference between the two videos? 2- How did the speakers introduce themselves? 3- What did they say when meeting for the first time? 4- How did they end the conversation?
