Your child should read 20 minutes every night . Students need to read different genres to meet the 40 Book Challenge. The planner is located in your child’s G.O. book. Grammar: I can identify antonyms and synonyms. Phonics: I can spell words with 3 letter blends. (ex. sprout, scrape, strut, throne, splat, shrug) Writing: I can write a personal narrative and include details to help my reader visualize. I can write in complete sentences. Math: I can represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction. Social Sciences: I can research a bat of my choice and write an informational “All About” book from my findings. I can research spiders. October 31 is our Book Fair Lunch. Please come join your child on Tuesday at 12:15 for lunch and to visit the AEEC Scholastic Book Fair.
