You’d be lost without them MAPS! You’d be lost without them

Maps Maps are representations of the whole or part of the earth’s surface. Some are flat on paper. What are some other examples of maps?

There are LOTS of map types No map can show every feature of the landscape. If it did, it would be too detailed to read and interpret. Maps, therefore, need to be selective in what they show. Topographic: shows the terrain Thematic: show patterns of certain areas Weather: shoes weather patterns Street: shows _____________________?
