Customizing TK Labels

Choosing TK Label Setting Default setting is one set of labels per site Can enable one set of labels per community Can toggle between settings without losing label descriptions

This screen shows the default setting, you can see that there is the option to switch from site-wide to community-level customization. I’m not going to make that switch yet, and if I click on ‘Customize Site-Wide TK Label Text”....

The option to customize site-wide disappears, but you can of course switch back to that. And to customize labels at a community level...

Customizing TK Labels Done by Mukurtu Administrators or Community Managers Prepare your text in advance! Planning is the hardest part

When I click on ‘Customize Site-Wide TK Label Text”....

It brings up a page where I can customize the Site-Wide TK Label text for each label. Tick the box next to the label to open it up….

And you can enter the custom text in the box for each label you want customized. If you do not enter custom text for a label, the default text from Local Contexts will display.

And as a secret bonus… I just tested embedding media in the TK labels custom text, and it seems to work well! This is obviously not a great example, but it does work! Note: I tested this at the community level, might have to do some adjusting at the site-wide level, and I’ll get instructions out for that...
