If they complete all their reading every week, they will get to go to the SME reading celebration for the first nine weeks! SIGNING IN OTIS Please sign in the planner under the reading that’s completed. Also, please sign the behavior chart each night. SNACKS Please keep snacks healthy and easy to eat! Reading- Retelling major events from a fiction story using transition words. Math- Rounding to the nearest ten and hundred. Strategies: Writing- Personal narratives with a strong beginning, middle and end. Social Studies- What is citizenship? What role does a student have in the school community? Sept. 9th Back to School Dance- 7:00pm Sept. 12th SRI test for third graders Sept. 14th Early Release- 11:30 dismissal Sept. 15th BOG test for third graders FYI night 3-5 grades 6:00pm
