You need to focus on getting your information from reliable sources. I have left you comments in the notes section to help you. Follow my instructions. At the end of class you must send me your PowerPoint. Be sure to save your name, your homeroom name, and country in the title. Leaders Continued The president is directly elected by the French people every five years. The French Constitution declares him head of state and gives him control over foreign policy and defense. The president appoints a prime minister. The appointment requires the approval of Parliament.
