How can being labelled affect the future opportunities of a person or group? Limits them Removes them Takes away from their initial endeavour Influences them to act a certain way based on their stereotype Affect their mentality and harm them emotionally Influences other people to think this way

What are some examples of ageism shown on the individual level and on the systemic level? Annoyed at the slowness of old people in line Generalizing that all old people drive badly (slow) Little children can’t talk or make decisions for themselves Some stores won’t allow multiple teenagers to come in incase of stealing Systemic level Forced to retire when reach a certain age Senior discounts
