FRP Faucet Proposal

Contents Introduction Advantages of FRP Faucet Manufacturing Process Product Image

(Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) 1. Introduction Material : FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) FRP(Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with fibers. Features Application ■ High ratio of strength- to-density weight compared to steel and aluminum. ■ Stronger than structural steel per kg ■ Extremely durable in corrosive environments ■ Fire resistance ■ Construction ■ Transportation ■ Marine ■ Aircraft / Aerospace ■ Corrosion-Resistant Equipment ■ Electronic devices, Others FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic)

Next Generation Faucet with Innovative Inside 1. Introduction The faucet body is dual molding structure and made with FRP and ABS. All of parts, except body, are same specification with the brass faucet. Next Generation Faucet with Innovative Inside Handle Cartridge Hose Aerator

2. Advantages of FRP Faucet ■ Lead Free No brass of the faucet’s body as using FRP, lead free material, instead. Ideal for drinking water in the next generation, using FRP faucet. ■ Low conductivity No deformation and more safer of body even in case of using hot water because of Fiber’s low heat conductivity(0.03Kcal/m∙h∙℃) compared to Brass. * Brass’s heat conductivity : 330Kcal/m∙h∙℃ ■ Price competitiveness Reducing prices(approximately 10~30%) in comparison with brass faucets. The larger size of faucet’s body, the higher price competitiveness. ■ Eco friendly No casting and grinding activities in the process of factory manufacturing. Remarkably reduce the pollution in the production environment.

2. Advantages of FRP Faucet Comparison table of lead contamination for each faucets made by FRP faucet and Brass faucet. GF Faucet A grade Brass faucet B grade Brass faucet etc. (mg/L) * Data source : SUPOR’s stainless faucet promotion video, certificates of faucet companies(factories), etc.

3. Manufacturing Process Raw material Forming Ultrasonic Welding Surface treatment Chrome plating ▶ Melting raw material (LUPOS GP-2200) ▶ Dividing parts forming ▶ ABS Treatment ▶ Plating ▶ Assembly Chrome plating FRP ABS
