Preface Hello. My name is Brand Niemann. I am a data scientist and data journalist. I am the founder and co-organizer of the Federal Big Data Working Group Meetup with Dr. Katherine Goodier. I was asked to be the organizer of this meetup when the organizer resigned.  The Virginia Big Data Meetup has yet to have its first Meetup so I am offering to jump start the agenda with a tutorial and invite you to offer a time and place and presentations.  CGI Federal has offered to host our Meetup. I invite you to participate in the Federal Big Data Working Group Meetup.
