Pasta Carbonnara
Ingredients 4 pieces bacon 2 large boneless chicken breasts 4 tablespoons olive oil 1 red bell pepper 1 yellow bell pepper ½ package arugula or spinach 1/2 cup butter 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated 1 ½ cups heavy cream Penne or bowtie pasta Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions 1. Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat 2. Add cream and cheese and cook over low heat, stirring regularly. 3. Bring water and salt to a roaring boil. Cook pasta until tender and drain. Mix in 1 tablespoon butter or oil and set aside. 4. Slice vegetables into thin julienne strips. Set aside. 5. Cut chicken into thin strips, season and fry in olive oil. Set aside.
