Review of The Last Days Events Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)-Volume 54 The resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29; Daniel 12:2) -Volume 55 The Great Tribulation (Matthew 24:21,22,29; Revelation 13)- Volume 56 The Second coming of Christ (Revelation 1:7; Jude 14,15) –Volume 57 Christ’s millennial reign – literal reign of 1000 years on earth (Revelation 20:1-4) –Volume 58 The great white throne judgment (Revelation 21:11- 15) –Volume 59 The New heaven and new earth (Revelation 21; 22) Review of The Last Days Events

What is this Great White Throne Judgement? It is the judgment that concludes the affairs of this present evil world This judgment cannot be avoided by any sinner. The time when the sea, death and hell will give up the dead in them. The time when the bodies of all the dead will be united with their souls and spirits to stand before God to receive judgement for their ungodly lives.

Categories of Judgement in the Scriptures Judgement that declared us justified before God (Romans 5:1,9) Daily self-examination in the light of God’s word (1 Corinthians 11:31,32; 2Corinthians 13:5) Judgement of believers for works done while on the earth (Romans 14:10; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Corinthians 3:11–15; Revelation 22:12). The judgment of Israel during the Great Tribulation (Ezekiel 20:33–44; Jeremiah 30:3-11; Matthew 24:4,5) The judgment of the (living) nations at the Second Advent (Matthew 25:31–46). This is the judgment of nations spoken of in Matthew 25:31–46. The judgment of angels for rebellion against God (2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6,7). The final judgment which is known as the Great White Throne Judgment.

God has always judged sinners… The world in the days of Noah, with the exception of eight persons (Genesis 6:17,18; 7:10–13,21–24). Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed except Lot and his two daughters (Genesis 19:13,24–26). Korah, Dathan and Abiram with their supporters. Nadab and Abihu, on Uzzah The Egyptians were punished for refusing to let God’s people go. Sennacherib and his 185,000 Assyrian soldiers (Isaiah 37:36–38) Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1–10)

The Judgement at a glance The Judge: The Judge is God Almighty, the Omniscient and Omnipresent. He knows everything. Those to be judged (verses 12,13): All those who died in sin from the time of Adam till the time of the Great White Throne Judgment will be resurrected (Daniel 12:2; John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Judgment: Every one of these sinners will be judged according to his works (verses 12,13). The books: (verse 12) “…and the books were opened”. These are the books that contains everything done by sinful people while on earth. The Book of life: Only one book: “which is the book of life…” (verse 12). The book contains names of all those who have been washed in the blood of Jesus.

The way of Escape Follow peace with all men Preach the gospel Avoid every appearance of evil. Don’t neglect Christ’s offer of Salvation Acknowledge, repent and forsake all sins Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour Live a holy life everyday Make all known restitutions
