FDR wins and brings a “New Deal” to end Depression

Restoring Hope FDR had to restore trust in gov’t Advisors, Eleanor Roosevelt “Fireside chats”, to help comfort the nation and support bank use

“First 100 Days” Passes 15 major acts through Congress New Deal = these acts + his new agencies

“Alphabet Soup” Agencies were backed by the gov’t Gave jobs, relief, and economic recovery
