Answer A galaxy contains the raw materials necessary to produce stars, clouds of gas and dust. The gases and dust are drawn together by gravity, and eventually form stars.

Did you know…? Scientists believe that the universe formed about 10-15 billion years ago. To count to 15 billion, a person would have to count one number every second, day, and night for 480 million years.
