Where was Archimedes born? Archimedes was born in Syracuse Sicily and was born around 287 BC and died around 212 BC. Archimedes was an had an very intelligent mind when he was a young boy as he got bigger he skip three grade levels and was in high school. He grew up as a slightly poor but he was known to be related to king Hiero II who was at the time ruler.

Crown of gold In the first centuries BC Archimedes were asked by king Hiero to help solve a problem. The king and goldsmith to create a crown from a quantity of pure gold there the queen.

Siege of Syracuse Archimedes the Greek built a wall so they could successfully keep out the Romans until they let its guard down. They had been let down so the Romans were let in and were not being right to there guard.

Archimedes Best invention Archimedes best invention and people know that it wont fail at all is the screw and it is like a swirly metal iron and it pushes down and bends.
