CARBOHYDRATES

What are carbohydrates? Carbohydrates are the body's main source of energy (calories) and are a key fuel source for exercise and sport. Carbohydrates are where most of our daily energy intake should come from, but our bodies have a limit. Too many carbs and the body will covert the extra to fat. Some foods have more carbohydrates in them than others, pasta, bread, rice, milk,potatoes, baked goods, fruits, vegetables, cereals, and popcorn are all high in carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the most common source of energy for the human body. .

Facts about carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are energy-giving food. We shall at least eat carbohydrates five times per week. We can not survive without carbohydrates.Too much carbs are bad for health. A few examples of carbohydrates are:-Bread,sugar,stach,pasta,wheat and milk etc.
