Municipal Planning The Land Planning Act governs land use and land planning There are three levels of government Federal Provincial Municipal All three levels of government deal with land planning and use but the municipal government has final say in approving a plan

Municipal Planning Upper Tier Lower Tier Anything that is more than a city Basically regions (York Region) or provinces (Ontario) Lower Tier City level Municipal Government (Markham)
