What do you put on your potato? Potatoes are rich in complex carbohydrates which supply your body with energy Potatoes have lots of fiber & potassium, and plenty of Vitamin C, especially with the skin on. Make good choices when you top your potato. It is healthy all by itself: too much salt, butter, oil, ketchup and gravy make it not as good for your body. Nutrition inforamtion from the United States Potato Board and www.nutition.about.com/od/askyournutritionist/f/potato.htm

Where do your potatoes grow? Ecuador Japan Kids all over the world love potatoes because they are easy to grow & easy to eat. Potatoes from your garden or a farm close to your home use less energy traveling to you. Try eating local potatoes for Harvest of the Month! East Africa
