EC south versus EC south asymetry studies with events (update of the 16th December talk) Smaïn Kermiche (CPPM) explanations of the 16th december numbers the new numbers Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche

Explanation of 16 December’s numbers Data sample em_util : V00-02-82 ---- emcandidate : V00-01-07 Yurii 's Z -> ee sample : All data taken September 2002 - June 2003 Processed with p13.xx.xx, picked raw data events, reprocessed with p14.04.00 and fixed with p14.fixtmb.01 Diem candidates selected (id=10,+/-11, iso < 0.15, emfrac > 0.9, pt > 25, HMx8 < 20, m(ee) > 30) Eta and phi fiducial cuts were applied, Bad runs were removed. Explanation of 16 December’s numbers All the numbers I presented in my last talk were from a comparison between the first crate in my definition (crate 4a) and the last crate (crate 46) !!! So I was comparing the statistics in ONE EC north crate with the statistics in ONE EC south crate. Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche

Triggers and EC north/south asymetry 16th December (crate 4a vs 46) Before track match 594 em objects in the EC North 925 em objects in the EC South Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche

Triggers and EC north/south asymetry New ( all north crates vs south) Before track match 2551 em objects in the EC North 2764 em objects in the EC South Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche

Triggers and EC north/south asymetry 16th December (carte 4a vs 46) After track match (and all cuts) 195 em objects in the EC North 291 em objects in the EC South Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche

Triggers and EC north/south asymetry New (all north crates vs south) After track match (and all cuts) 814 em objects in the EC North 963 em objects in the EC South Calgo meeting 12/16/2003 Smaïn Kermiche
