Lesson 1: Christian Moral Life Biblical Passage: Luke 5:1-11 (The First Disciples) Christian Moral Life It simply means following Jesus Christ: allowing Jesus to redirect the flights of our minds, hearts and actions. It is turning to the new direction in life: Jesus the Way It is centered on the Gospel. It is always a process of becoming the person we truly are. We must become Christ’s followers.

Lesson 1: Christian Moral Life Prayer and Christian Moral Life Praying alone and with the Christian community strengthens us to live a Christian Moral Life. Prayer: communication to God, it is essential to Christian faith. It is centered on the Gospel. It is always a process of becoming the person we truly are. We must become Christ’s followers. Prayer allows us to understand more fully the Truth of Christ and consequently deepens our relationship with Him.

Lesson 1: Christian Moral Life Prayer and Christian Moral Life “Prayer and an active sacramental life are the necessary means not only for clarifying the Christian vision, but also for motivating responsible moral act decision and acts.” (CFC, 844)
