Frame We will learn about budgeting your salary. EQ: What is a budget? I will discuss the benefits and challenges associated with budgeting your salary.

Topic of the Day: Budgeting your salary As a class list as many expenses as you can think of. Now use your balancing your budget worksheet provided to get ideas. Create your own budget filling in your own scenario different to the one provided in balancing your budget worksheet. Follow the worksheet steps and arrive to your very own balanced budget.

What conclusions did you arrive to? Where are you spending the majority of your salary? Where could you save money? What are the differences between needs and wants?
