Winter is Here By Evelyn Gratton Winter is here, O winter is here! What fun will it be to slip around on the ground! The first snow has come, for it tis on the earth, evidence everywhere of the fun all around! Beautiful O beautiful the white tis in the trees, on the ground, everywhere this it bound to end up, pretty and sound, soft in mounds. Winter is here O winter is here! What fun will it be to build snowmen, make a den! I love to make snow angels flowy and soft, and pretend they are calling me to go aloft. To slide and to slip, O fun it tis! Sliding slightly as I go down to the woods to have fun in the different perspectives! Winter is here O winter is here! What fun will it be to be happy and cheered! Happy O yes! To be happy and blessed! To have good spirit and to have guessed, the winter season is the greatest of them all!
