every time we see Jesus feeling compassion, His feeling is immediately followed by an action

Matthew 14:14 Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Matthew 20:34 Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

Mark 6:33-34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd.  So he began teaching them many things.

The closer that I get to Jesus, the more I care for the things that He cares for.

The further I get from Jesus, the less I care about what matters to Him & the more I care for myself & the less I care for others
