AUD -sound/to hear

Audible (adj) that is heard or can be heard

Audiovisual (adj) of, pertaining to, involving, or directed at both hearing and sight

Audience (n) the spectators or listeners assembled at a performance

Audition (n.) a trial hearing or performance given to an actor, musician, dancer, etc. to test suitability for employment, professional training or competition

Audiology (n.) the study of hearing disorders, including evaluation of hearing function and rehabilitation of patients with hearing impairments

Auditor (n.) one who attends a class/course to listen and learn, but does not receive credit for doing so

Audiometer (n.) an instrument for gauging and recording sharpness of hearing

Auditorium (n.) a large building for public meetings and performances to be heard by a group of people

Audiophile (n.) a person who is especially interested in high-fidelity sound reproduction *high fidelity means that the music or recording does not have any imperfections in the sound quality.

Auditory (adj.) of or related to hearing, the organs of hearing, or the sense of hearing
