Artemis Goddess of hunting

Appearance Artemis usually wore a knee – length chiton or a dress. She is usually seen with a bow and arrow and her hunting dogs.

Personality and Powers Artemis had a very complex personality. Sometimes she could be very peaceful and helpful but in other stories she could be seen as angry and destructive. She also had many special ability’s for example she could calm animals when near so they always come towards her.

Artemis’ family tree This is the Olympian Gods family tree. As you can see Artemis’ grandparents are Coeus+Phoebe and her parents are Leto+Zeus. She also has a twin brother named Apollo.

Myths and legends THAT WAS JUST ONE OF MANY GREEK MYTHS!!! While a Greek fleet prepared to sail to Troy King Agamamnon had offended Artemis. He was then forced to sacrifice his own daughter Iphigenia to appease the goddess. But at the last moment Artemis snatched her away from the alter while replacing her with a doe. THAT WAS JUST ONE OF MANY GREEK MYTHS!!!
