One Holiday Ireland Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day is one main holiday they celebrate.(March 17)! It isn't just the fact that St. Patrick is the Patron Saint of the country and the person responsible for expelling all snakes from the "emerald isle“. It is a time of rejoicing in the fact that one is of Irish ancestry. It's a time of national pride and it is a celebration of such the whole world over. Patrick's Day Parades are evident in most countries where the Irish have had an impact.

Religion of the people Roman Catholic is the main one! Ireland today is multi-cultural society where all religions are embraced and respected as playing vital roles in the societal make-up of the country. Other religious groups in Ireland include the Church of Ireland, Methodist and Baptist Churches as well as the Salvation Army Communities.

Ireland: Non-Bogus Baileys Mousse Pie •1 pre-made or homemade 9-inch graham cracker crust •1 envelope powdered gelatin •1 cup heavy / whipping cream •3 egg whites •1/4 cup sugar •6 fluid ounces milk •3 fluid ounces Baileys •2 teaspoons coffee crystals •2 teaspoons cocoa Blend the Baileys, and half the milk in a small bowl and set them aside as well. In a small microwave-resistant bowl or saucepan, mix the remaining milk with the coffee crystals and cocoa: whisk until completely blended. Whisk the egg whites until the soft-peak stage. Add the sugar tablespoon by tablespoon until stiff peaks form. Set the egg whites aside. In another small bowl, whip the cream until firm. Set aside. Heat the milk/coffee/cocoa mixture until just about to scald: or microwave until steaming hot. When hot, sprinkle the gelatine over the surface of the mixture and whisk in until completely blended. Then add the Baileys and Milk mixture and continue to whisk together until blended. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and chill for at least several hours: overnight would be better.
