Information & reminders Nursery phrase of the Week Dosbarth Col-huw Nursery News Information & reminders As the weather is getting sunnier please make sure your child has sun cream applied before attending nursery, as we go outside daily. Thank you. Snack contributions for next half term will be £7 please. Alternatively you may prefer to pay £1 weekly. Our Little Dragons library continues every Friday. Please let a member of staff know if you would like your child to join. You will need to bring a book bag with you. Our Nursery Sports morning will be on Friday 16th June at 10.30am. Families welcome. The next LAP dragons (Language and Play) session with Mrs Price will be on Thursday 9th June at 11.30. Please note there will be no LAP dragons on Thursday 15th June due to Foundation Phase/Key Stage 2 Sports Day. Week Ending: Friday 26th May Nursery phrase of the Week Mae hin’n heulog. It is sunny. We have been having lots of fun with the sound ‘Sh’ this week, with sheep stories being re-told by the children, sheep collages and sheepdog rounding up outside. The number we have focused on is ‘8’ and we have been using the language “less than” in our counting activities. Thank you for your contributions towards the PTA duck race. More ducks are on their way ready for you to buy and decorate for the race on Saturday June 10th. After half term we will be running ‘Whatever the Weather Wednesday’ sessions for Nursery children who will be starting Reception in September. The sessions will be from 13.30 – 15.00 on 22nd & 29th June and 6th July. Please book a place with Mrs Beynon or Mrs Price. Children can attend with one member of their family. Please remember to return the letters and donations for our Nursery trip on the 11th July. Have a fantastic half-term holiday. Hopefully we will look forward to more sunshine.
