Pulp Painting Landscapes Art 1

Pulp Painting – hand forming a sheet of paper into a design or piece of artworks MATERIALS: Tissue paper Elmer’s Glue Water Canvas

You will be working on a 6x6 square canvas You will be working on a 6x6 square canvas. Sketch out a landscape for your Pulp project . Once you have a sketch, you will transfer your sketch to your Canvas.

Tape down your canvas to the piece of cardboard provided.

Set aside the colored tissue paper you will be working with. Tear them up into small pieces and place into your bowl. Pour a small amount of water onto the tissue paper . Not too much !

Work one section at a time so that the pieces overlap each other. Shape the wet tissue paper into the lines of your drawing. After placing, use a napkin to blot over wet tissue paper, This will remove excess moisture. Fibers of tissue paper are interlocking.

You can not attach wet tissue to dry tissue You can not attach wet tissue to dry tissue. Add glue to the dry tissue, and then Apply wet tissue so that it attaches together.
