Results: Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient was 0.931 while item-total score correlation coefficient values were between 0.555 and 0.869, as a result of reliability analyses. Test- retest correlation coefficient was r= 0.765. As for construct validity, there was one factor that accounted for 68.2% of the variance and is congruent with the original structure of the scale. As for concurrent validity, the scale had demonstrated very high levels of correlation with Turgay Inattention subscale (r= 0.946; p<0.0001). Materials & Methods: Study groups consisted of 36 primary school aged children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that had applied to get treatment in child and adolescent psychiatry outpatient units of participating centers and 53 healthy volunteers. For assessment, Turgay Evaluation and Rating Form based on DSM-IV diagnostic criteria- Inattention Subscale was used along with DSM-V Level 2 Inattention Scale- Parent Form. CONCLUSIONS: Turkish version of DSM-5 Level 2 Inattention Scale- Parent Form could be used as a valid and reliable tool both in clinical practice and relevant research.
