The Stovall Crew Contact Information: Mrs. Stovall 903-295-5120 cstovall@ptisd.org Feb. 14th : Valentine’s Day : Students can bring Valentines to share but they must bring one for EVERY child. We will send home a class list of names. Upcoming Holidays: Students do not come to school on Friday Feb. 17th and Monday, Feb. 20th. Math Homework: Practice 10 more and 10 less, as well as balancing equations. Spelling: Practice words out loud, as well as writing them. Remember to get your background check done if you want to go to the Zoo Field Trip with us on March 28. Math: Your child will Skip count by twos, fives, and tens to determine the total number of objects up to 99 in a set. Reading: Your child will make inferences about text and use textual evidence to support understanding. Your child will determine what words mean from how they are used in a sentence, heard or read. Writing: Your child will write brief compositions about topics of interest to the student. Phonics:I Your child will read and spell words with r-controlled vowels. Science: Your child sort and classify living and nonliving things based upon whether or not they have basic needs and produce offspring. Soc. Studies: Your child will describe how technology changes the way families live.
