Jesus’ twelve apostles If you are a disciple of someone what does that mean? How many disciples did Jesus have? (Luke 6:12-16, 9:1-2, 10:1) ? From his disciples Jesus chose 12 of them to be apostles. What do you know about Jesus 12 apostles? Jesus has many followers, men and women. Make the point clear that anyone who follows Jesus is a disciple, even today. Twelve of these are chosen by Jesus to be his apostles, one who is sent. These twelve followed Jesus and his ministry for three years and where sent and empowered by Jesus to continue that work.
