Create It Drill the wood to build a stand and at the bottom build a box where you can put your hand in and squeeze the pump. Then put the pump in the stand so it can suck the water in and push it out. Next tie the string to the shells and the stand. Make sure the water can go through the shells into the pool and back to the pump.

Try It The first time I tried it the first shell restricted the water from flowing. So I had to place it side ways. Then I let the water trickle down so I would know how to place the next ones. I measured the sides so it would be equal. I had to angle the holes so the pump would work.

Tweak It Instead of putting the pump inside I hung it on the outside. I decided to put rocks in side the pool so it will look better. I used hot glue so the strings would stay to the shell. I thought I could use fewer shells so it would not take up so much space.
