Why are we here today?
The real reasons for new mobility!
How can technology help?
Coast is… An autonomous vehicle company, not a vehicle manufacturer. Passionate about safety, user experience and technology. Vehicle agnostic. Creating partnerships to convert and design purpose-built vehicles. Removing drivers to evolve vehicle designs. Rethinking mobility
Vision Providing communities new mobility Expanding vehicle portfolio Optimizing autonomous mobility Enhancing existing transport networks Building an ecosystem of capabilities Anchoring Smart Cities Recreating pedestrian environments Solving problems
Expanding AV Portfolio Time
History Pierre Lefevre, CTO, is a visionary behind low speed autonomous transport. Developing technology and safety protocols since 2005 Focused on using “off the shelf” low-cost sensors to develop real commercial applications. First generation shuttle won the 2014 CES Popular Science “Product of the Future” Award. 2014 engineers trained by Pierre migrate to EasyMile and NAVYA. 2015 Coast team develops completely new and improved autonomous system.
Experience Built first commercially available self-driving shuttle Over 60 demonstrations and trials in seven countries Participant in the EU CityMobil2 Program Transported over 100,000 passengers with over 99% uptime at Tampa’s Museum of Science and Industry EPFL Lausanne, Switzerland - 2012 Lyon France - 2013 Nanyang Tech University - 2013 Circuit of the Americas - 2013

Hong Kong - 2017 Final stage of negotiations as AV supplier of choice for the 1st autonomous vehicle in Hong Kong. Hong Kong’s 1st zero carbon building is planning to host a Coast AV shuttle demo in June 2017. Planned expansion to pilot at the Science Park in QTR-4 2017. Subject to HK government approval, projects are likely to be launch greater AV deployment in Hong Kong. Huge opportunity for purpose-built vehicle development and deployment. Science Park pilot is expected to operate with 10 vehicles in 2018. Autonomous Software: State-of-the-art sensor fusion and decision-making software.
