What´s required Cooperation, communication and coordination Regular information exchange on significant cases Guidelines for the uniform implementation and enforcement of the regulations Europol is the European Union’s law enforcement agency whose main goal is to help achieve a safer Europe for the benefit of all EU citizens. We do this by assisting the European Union’s Member States in their fight against serious international crime and terrorism The latest chapter in the development of Eurojust is contained in the Lisbon Treaty, namely in Chapter 4, Articles 85 and 86. Article 85 mentions Eurojust and defines its mission, “to support and strengthen coordination and cooperation between national investigating and prosecuting authorities in relation to serious crime affecting two or more Member States […]”. Article 86 states that, “in order to combat crimes affecting the financial interests of the Union, the Council, by means of regulations adopted in accordance with a special legislative procedure, may establish a European Public Prosecutor’s Office from Eurojust".

What´s helpful Other involved organizations like Europol or Eurojust which are able to offer legal and practical support Uniform training material EU Action Plan against Wildlife Trafficking
