Your child should read 20 minutes every night . Students need to read different genres to meet the 40 Book Challenge. The planner is located in your child’s G.O. book. Grammar: I can identify and use strong verbs. Phonics: I can spell words with soft c and soft g. (ex. face and page) Writing: I can write a personal narrative and include details to help my reader visualize. Math: I can learn different ways to practice our basic addition and subtraction facts. Social Sciences: I can research a bat of my choice and write an informational text from my findings. *Practice addition math facts. This will help your child with 3 digit addition and subtraction. Flashcards and Sum Dog are two great resources to help your child. October 31 is our Book Fair Lunch. Please come join your child on Tuesday at 12:15 for lunch and to visit the AEEC Scholastic Book Fair. Meet us in the classroom (Room 703 in the Orange Pod).
