Fact sheet – About our activities Reverse Garbage: Reverse Garbage workshops are an opportunity to put the principles of sustainability into practice through engaging, creative projects. Please be at DBOOSH by 9am. Art & Craft day at DBOOSH: Come and find your inner artist through fun craft activities and design and paint your own plaster moulds and many more fun craft activities. Jay Scott Berry Magic Show: Magic mystery & wonder join the grandmaster magician on a wondrous journey into pure imagination. This modern day Merlin presents a mind boggling playful magic show. This show has be call the closest thing to real magic that you will ever see. Baden-Powell Scout Centre: Become a scout for a day! Learn about rock climbing, low rope climbing, scouting, pioneering, and orienteering skills and many more fun activities. Some of the fun activities include: bush walk, flying fox and bush trivia. Please be at the centre by 9am. Wheels Day: Bring your bike, scooter or skate board to DBOOSH today and have fun riding around the different courses that will be set up for the children. Are you the next DBOOSH Wheels Day champion? Come and find out! My Dance Party: This two hour social experience will see the kids being lead through a party by an interactive DJ on the dance floor. The kids will play dance games & participate in fun music-driven challenges in groups & on their own. Putt Putt Golf: Test your golf skills on our three great courses where you never know what's around the corner. Have a whale of a time on the WATERWAYS! Look out for animals on the JUNGLE TRAIL! Have a picture with the characters on the FUN RUN! Thread Together Banksmeadow The goal of Thread Together is simple: to deliver quality clothing and shoes to members of our community who are doing it tough. Since 2012, brand new clothes have been sourced, sorted and distributed to tens of thousands of people through more than 40 charities across Australia. In this wonderful hands-on excursion children learn about those in crisis, including asylum seekers and indigenous communities, and learn that  everyone can make a difference.    Make Your Own Kite Day Design and make your own kite at DBOOSH to celebrate the Festival of the Winds! Carnival Day For the last day of the holidays, come celebrate with DBOOSH at our carnival! We will have a jumping castle, a slushie machine, popcorn, and many more fun carnival activities.

Important Information Please bring Hat –Children will be encouraged to wear sun-safe hats that protect the face, neck and ears when outside. Staff will be putting sunscreen on children throughout the day. Please notify staff if your child is allergic to sunscreen. Comfortable clothes including closed-in shoes and covered shoulders. No thongs or sandals. Morning tea, lunch and plenty to drink Jumper & wet weather gear (raincoat/poncho) Purchasing of gifts and or food on excursions is not permitted unless a child has no food packed for lunch. Charges will be added to family account. *Some DBOOSH children suffer from severe allergies including Anaphylaxis, so we aim to be a NUT FREE ZONE.
