Water Bottles and Wellie Boots! Kiwi School Foundation Stage News Friday 9th September 2016 Welcome to Kiwi School On behalf of everyone in Foundation Stage here at Kiwi School I would like to welcome you all and hope that your child has had a fun filled first week with us. We have been delighted with the way that all of the children are settling in to school life. We have been busy taking lots of photos of ourselves to use in class. We have had a tour around our new school and met lots of new people. We have enjoyed learning how to serve ourselves snack and to wash up our own things! We are looking forward to a fantastic first term here at Kiwi and have lots of great learning experiences planned. Water Bottles and Wellie Boots! Please make sure that your child has a named water bottle in school. We would like to ask that it is filled with water and not squash or juice. Can we please ask that you bring in a pair of wellington boots for your child to wear during the wet weather as we play outside come rain or shine! Forthcoming Events This term we plan on holding a “meet your teacher”, coffee session. You will have the chance to come in and speak to myself and Mrs. Gough and ask us any questions about the year ahead. We are also going to hold a tapestry information evening and will write to you shortly with more information. Reading Books. After transition is complete we will be sending home reading books and records. We will also send you information regarding supporting phonics at home.
