1. Introduce the text your character is in. I.Who created it? II.When was it created? III.Where it was created? IV.Who is the target audience? A) The person that created my character is Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. B) It was created on May 19, 2009. C) It was created in Los Angeles, California. D) The target audience are teenagers that loves to sing and dance.

2. Introduce the character 2. Introduce the character. Describe the characterization of your character. Appearance: has long hair, sings well, wear long socks, and wear long sleeves clothing. Do: she can sing really well. She is selfish and brought Sunshine to a crack house because she doesn’t want her to steal her spotlight. Thinks: She thinks she is the best singer and wants to be the lead singer every time.

Says: she says that I am piss for my boyfriend kissing another girl and not getting to be the lead singer. She also says that last year when we are standing here you gave me a hug but now I get nothing. What other characters say: Finn- there are much worse things you can loose than your voice. I want to take you somewhere. Santana- I don’t want to date those cool boys I want you.

3. Introduce the character’s conflicts. I.What are the character’s major problems? II.How does your character deal with the problems? A) The major problem of this character is she wants to keep the best for herself and not share it with others. B) She will find ways to get what she wants. She liked a boy and told a secret about her current girlfriend to get him.

4. What are your character’s motivations? My character motivation is to get and me the best. She wants the hottest boyfriend and be the lead singer. During any Glee club meeting she wants the whole team to follow and listen to her ideas.

5. Relate the character to your life. I.Why do you like the character? II. What have you learned from the character? A) I like this character because I find her very hardworking. She works really hard in order to achieve her goals. She always tries her best to be the lead singer. B) I have learned that being hardworking is good and helps you achieve your goal. If you fail it doesn’t mean that I will fail everytime. I have also learned to be more confident on stage.

III. How does the character’s life relate to yours III.How does the character’s life relate to yours? (show a short clip of the character and explain how the clip relates to your life.) C) I am a person that loves performing arts and so does Rachel. I like to perform but I am always very nervous when I am performing. But Rachel is not she is confident and this is what I admire.

6. The writer/movie maker’s reason for creating the character. I.How does the writer/movie maker want people to feel about the character? Why? Provide specific details. A) The writer wants people to feel that Rachel has a beautiful voice and is always the lead singer. Rachel does has a very beautiful voice and deserve to be the lead singer. She is also bossy and wants people to use her ideas. In the show if the teacher does not agree she gets upset. But she gets over it and does the performance.

II.What do you think the writer/movie maker is trying to express through the character? B) The writer/movie maker is trying to express that not only singers can have a nice voice but also normal people like us can. While Glee is having their audition Rachel went and sang her heart out. Before that she is a normal girl not a singer and actress.

III.How is the character used to express ideas about society/the world? Why? Provide DETAILS and EXAMPLES! C) This character is kind of cunning. People today are very cunning because they want people to listen to them all the time. She wants her classmate’s boyfriend and she know a secret about her cheating on him. She decides to tell him because Rachel wants him to break up with her and become her boyfriend. This is how the society is today back stabbing people to achieve your goal.
