Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi Gandhi was born on October 2, 1869. Was born in Portbandar, India. Was the leader of the Indian Nationalist Movement

Education Background 17 years old, traveled to England to a degree in law at University College London. 21 years old, finally realized that violence was evil. began to developed a method of non-violent resistance, which was called satyagraha.

Accomplishment Fought for independence without firing a single bullet. Got the British to leave and India is finally free. Inspired many young minds like Martin Luther King Jr.
