Archery

Archery In the olden days archery was to hit a target far away. It consisted of bows and arrows. It was frequently used in wars where one had to defeat his opponent by either cutting off the bow string. or by breaking the bow using arrows or killing the opponent. One can’t kill another one when he is disarmed or fleeing the battlefield in fear. The most famous archer of all times was Arjuna the pandava.

Musti Yudha

Musti Yudha The matches were fought without the use of any weapons or tools and with minimal use of kicks and other leg techniques and grappling moves. Various types of punches and elbow strikes are mostly used to counter and defeat the opponent. The boxers may target and hit any part of the opponent's body, except for the groin area and the use of weapons was strictly forbidden. The fights between the Mukki boxers were violent and deaths of participants in the arena were quite common. 

Sword fighting

Sword fighting Swordsmanship or khagdavidya refers to the skills of a swordsman, a person versed in the art of the sword. In this one has to defeat his opponent by either killing him or disarming them. In the medieval period most of the rulers used swords as the main weapon in their army. The greatest swordsmen were Nakula ans Sahadeva the pandavas.
